The Bird Box Lamp was born from a familiar sight. In my grandparents’ house, wooden wine boxes accumulate after arriving as gifts, later repurposed to hold all kinds of things. Seeing them inspired me to do something different. The sliding lid suggested that, with a light source inside, the box could naturally control and modulate brightness. That idea led me to design the Bird Box, a bedside lamp crafted from a reclaimed wine crate. It offers a warm, cozy glow with adjustable intensity.
