The Big Foot Lamp emerged from intuitive creation. It began with an oak block from the Pyrenees that was too large for my grandpa’s chimney. Days of polishing revealed natural grain patterns and rich tonal variations, inspiring me to give the piece a purpose. Finding an old copper tube and exploring its malleability led me to craft a lamp. I finished it with a dark glass sphere, a designer bulb, and a black rope cable. It casts a warm, pleasant light.
